JOHN LANE-SMITH APS
John is a speaker, author and facilitator with over twenty years
experience in the corporate speaking arena both in Australia
and overseas. John was one of the first to introduce Emotional
Intelligence to Australia and has been conducting seminars
on the topic for over ten years. Known amongst his peers as “Mr
Enthusiasm” John has a unique style of delivery which
keeps his audience amused through the learning process .In
addition to his penchant for the behavioural sciences John
has a wealth of experience in management, sales and marketing
and is able to marry the two areas to create useful tools to
enhance performance.

include( but are not limited to) an MBA majoring in Business

assessor and less formally won the “Telstra Business
Woman of the Year” in 1997. With extensive experience
in the Corporate sector both at Senior Management level and
as a Consultant, Jan has professional standing coupled with
a practical and interactive style which will make the time
spent with her a valuable and rewarding experience.

ANTHONY BRITT BSC LLB
Anthony is a Barrister currently practising in NSW and is regarded
by the legal profession as an expert in all areas related to
employment issues. In addition to his busy practice as an Industrial
Barrister Anthony lectures in Law . His extensive experience
as a Senior Industrial Officer with two large employer groups
gives him hands on experience in the work place. Don’t
be frightened off by his excellent credentials. Anthony has a
relaxed and friendly style which includes real life examples
and cases you’ve probably heard about on the news, making
a day with him most informative and rewarding.

IAN MELVILLE B.Sc (Eng.); B.Bus; Dip.Ed:
A certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming,
Ian is employed as an Executive Coach by leading business firms
and continues to consult within various NSW Public sector agencies
and local government. He has extensive senior management experience
and holds university degrees in Civil Engineering, Business
and Education. In addition, Ian is a keynote speaker, specialising
in the role of Emotional Intelligence in business communication,
Human Resource management and the contemporary role of the
ageing executive. He is an entertaining speaker and combines
his natural style of honesty and humour to his breadth of experience
to entertain audiences.

MARILYN POWELL:PhD candidate, MNs, BSN,
Dip.Tching
Marilyn is a certified trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming
and Doctoral candidate profiling excellent performance in nurses.
Marilyn is employed as an Executive Coach working with leading
companies with an emphasis on building emotional intelligences
and using up to the minute profiling tools.
In 2002, Marilyn successfully introduced the well validated European
recruitment tool iWAM (Internet Work Attitudes and Motivations
Scale) to Australia. Since then, it has been increasingly used
by a wide range of HR departments, private companies and coaching
teams throughout Australia. This selection and team building
tool is used within industry to identify work suitability, assisting
in career transition and in motivating peak performance. Marilyn
is a lively speaker, well equipped to administer and explain
this intriguingly useful tool in an easy to understand format.
